Epidemiological Study of Endocrine- Disrupting Chemicals in Japan
Chemicals such as chlorinated organic compounds, etc., are suspected to have disrupting activity. Using epidemiological techniques, study examines whether these substances, with an amount that exists in an everyday life environment, affect human health. Further, based on epidemiology journals that have been published worldwide, findings regarding effects on carcinogenesis, thyroid function, organ formation, childhood neural development, reproductive function, etc., are being summarized.
