Epidemiologic Studies at RCCPS

Introduction

At the Research Center for Cancer Prevention and Screening of National Cancer Center, as screening services are provided, various studies are conducted in participants of screening at the same time. At the Epidemiology and Prevention Division, studies are being conducted to search for the cause of cancer and develop effective cancer prevention methods, using samples provided for studies, lifestyle-related information, test results, etc. In addition, information can be viewed on the home page, etc., as to what methods are being used for what studies, what results have been obtained, etc.

Study Project

  • Case-control study investigating the cause of colonic adenoma – focusing on heredity/environmental interactions
  • Study of validity of a food frequency questionnaire (FFQ) in participants of screening at Research Center for Cancer Prevention
